The Oakland Raiders announced last Friday that they have signed third-round linebacker Shilique Calhoun. The Raiders have now officially signed their entire 2016 draft class to four-year contracts.
Calhoun was selected 75th overall in April. In 54 games at Michigan State, he had 131 tackles (74 solo), 44 tackles for loss, 27 sacks, one interception, four forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and five passes defensed.
As a senior, Calhoun started all 14 games, recording 49 tackles, 10.5 sacks, three passes defensed and one forced fumble. He was named second-team All-American for the third year in a row while also earning first-team All-Big Ten honors for the third consecutive year.
As the 75th overall pick, Calhoun was predicted by Spotrac to sign a four-year, $3.45 million deal with a $790,132 signing bonus and a 2016 cap hit of $647,533.
