San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Anthony Davis‘ career will likely usher in a huge turning point.
According to local media reports Davis might choose to retire. And soon, 49ers will start the new season with Monday night race against the Los Angeles Rams.
Davis did not participate in team Saturday training due to non-injury reasons, as he could not determine whether to play. The team also did not confirm the reports of Davis considering retirement again.
Davis, 26-year-old, spent the entire 2015 season on the reserve / retired list as fearing concussion. NFL official reporter Mike Garafolo represented that Davis focused on winning back the starting position after his return.
Davis is expected to be the starting right guard. And Andrew Tiller, starting the second half last season, will fill his vacancy.
